Recognizing and monitoring online threats on the social media

Strengthening civil society from Bosnia and Herzegovina to recognize and monitor online threats on the social media is a 12-month action “Strengthening civil society from Bosnia and Herzegovina to recognize and monitor online threats on the social media” is a civic initiative designed to strengthen youth’ resilience to radicalization leading to VE. The Action strives to initiate changes in the youth’ perception and awareness on radical contents (from hate speech to VE contents). The project activities include: mentorship, peer to peer education, media campaign and workshops and mentorship meetings aiming at strengthening media literacy of CSOs, youth and their peers, relatives, friends and people from their immediate environment. The project will directly include tens of youngsters and mentors as well as media outlets. It will also assume launch of web platform as an important resource for communities, and individuals to increase their understanding of violent extremism and recognition of radicalization processes or extremist behaviour. The project is supported by Hedayah with financial assistance of the European Union.
