…is the EU funded project designed to elevate the accessibility level of media contents and services to persons with disabilities and to improve legal framework and practices in this segment. The Action opens possibility for strong cooperation between media and PWD and contributes to strengthening their human rights.

The concept is based previously undertaken research on information needs of persons with disability, on media capacities to produce adapted content and on a dialogue with relevant stakeholders.

Via the Equal Access Hub, persons with disabilities and media will get a tool for production and placement of accessible media contents.

Furthermore, the Action will mount flow of information via media and advocacy campaign that will present improved policies and practices in this sector.  

The Action is implemented by ICVA in partnership with association “Ja bih u EU” and funded by the European Union (2020/2021).
